The programme aims to develop the skills of youth, considering the opportunities for employment in the growing Solar Energy Power project’s installation, operation & maintenance in India and abroad. The Suryamitra Programme is also designed to prepare the candidates to become new entrepreneurs in Solar Energy sector. The Suryamitra Skill Development Programmes are sponsored by Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Government of India.

The Inauguration of the Centre in HRIT Campus was held on 13th FEB’17.Many Prominent guests from Solar Energy Sector and other renowned sectors were invited in the ceremony. The first quarterly batch is successfully running from 15th FEB’17.HRIT has thus become a contributor towards skill development by joining hands with such organizations run by government of India. This will prove to be a milestone towards building skilled India.


WORKSHOP On “I C ENGINE”

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized one day Workshop on ‘IC Engine’ in the month of Feb 2017 in the Premises of HRIT Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad.
This workshop was organized on practical knowledge of the various parts in the IC Engine. Trainers from Various Reputed industries came and teach the students how to assemble and repair the parts of an engine. This workshop gives the students, vast knowledge of machine parts.



Experts from reputed industries highlighted the working and constructional details of an IC Engine. The maintenance and assemble-disassemble are also experiences by students. This workshop gives a real experience of industries.The workshop emphasized in imparting both theoretical as well as practical experience on IC Engine.


Seminar on “RECENT ADVANCES IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING”

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized one day seminar on “RECENT ADVANCE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING” on 10th May 2017 in the Premises of H.R. Group of institutions, Ghaziabad.
The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. V. K. Jain, Director General , HRIT Group of institution with a great inspirational lecture about scope of mechanical engineering.
At this event, Chief guest Dr. Harish Kumar, a senior scientist from National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi , highlighted the importance of Measurement and metrology in mechanical engineering and recent development in the area of mechanical technology and analysis. Students of mechanical engineering participated in the seminar and get benefited. Ms. Girija Moona, Guest of honor, Junior Scientist from National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, explained about the force analysis technology and recent advances in mechanical engineering.
 
At the end of seminar. Dr. Ranjit Singh, Director, HRIT Group of institutions, addresses the students and share their vast experiences in the field of mechanical engineering.


A one day national seminar on “Recent Trends in Manufacturing was organized by Department of Mechanical Engg on 16/03/2012.The seminar was inaugurated by Sh. Nasim Akhter Senior Scientist CSIR-CRR, New Delhi. He is Editor-in-Chief Journal of Noise, Vibration and Harshness & Founder of The Institute of Sound & Vibration New Delhi.
The programme began with lighting the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. Dr. V.K.Jain, Director General of HRGI welcomed all the speakers and delegates. He also expressed his view in the importance of manufacturing for any country.

Sh. Nasim Akhtar, chief guest of the seminar also discussed about the sound and vibrations. He told that all equipment & software used for the prevention of noise pollution are imported from other countries.

To control noise pollution wooden, concrete, poly-carbonate panels etc. are also imported which results in loss of money in crores annually. He also requested faculty members, students to manufacture such costly devices and software in their own country and develop their nation.
