ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF B.Tech. / B. Pharm. / BHMCT


  • The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be as follows:

  • For admission to first year of B.Tech. candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with compulsory subjects and one of the optional subjects as given in above table (i) and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together OR passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
  • For admission to first year of B.Pharm, candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject with compulsory subjects and one of the optional subjects as given in above table (i) and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
  • For admission to first year of BHMCT candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate.

ELIGIBILITY   FOR   ADMISSION   TO   FIRST   YEAR   OF MBA/MCA


  • For admission to first year of MBA, a candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U securing minimum 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate.
  • For admission to first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed BCA/ B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. of three years minimum duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) marks in aggregate.

ELIGIBILITY   TO   SECOND   YEAR (LATERAL ENTRY) of B.Tech./B.Pharm./MCA


  • Direct Admission in second year (Lateral Entry) of BHMCT/ MBA courses is not permissible.
  • Lateral entry in “B.Tech. for Engineering Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard”/ “B.Pharm for Diploma holders” in third semester (second year)/ “MCA for Graduates of BCA or B.Sc.-Information Technology/Computer Science in third semester (second year)”, is open only in the institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow. Candidate who have passed qualifying exam from other than Uttar Pradesh State and whose parents are not domicile of UP State are not eligible for direct admission to second year of B.Tech / B.Pharm./MCA (Lateral Entry).
  • Candidates who have passed three years Engineering Diploma from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) OR whose parents (Father or mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and he/she has passed three years Engineering Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture), are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engineering /Technology.
  • Candidates who have passed three years B.Sc. degree and passed XII standard with mathematics as one of the subject from any recognized University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engineering/ Technology. The candidates belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall clear the subjects Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing/Engineering Mechanics (as applicable in University Curriculum) of the first year Engineering programme along with the second-year subjects.
  • Candidates who have passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)’ OR whose parents are domicile of U.P. and he/she has passed (with/without grace) 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., are eligible for admission to second year of B.Pharm. Only.
  • For Admission to 2nd year of MCA course (Lateral Entry), in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree course of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. The candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.

DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY


Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part-I course -A is to pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.

  • Intermediate examination in Science.
  • The first year of the three year degree course in Science.
  • 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science.
  • Pre–degree examination.
  • Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination.
  • Admission of candidates to the Diploma in Pharmacy Part - I shall be made in order of merit on the basis of 'Pre-Pharmacy Test' conducted in accordance with the scheme of Examinations and syllabus laid-down by the University.

BACHELOR OF LAWS (LL.B.)


  • 3-year degree program, and affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. A graduate in any discipline with minimum 45% marks is eligible to admission to the 3-year LLB course. For OBC candidate the selection criteria has been relaxed to 42% and  SC/ST candidate the selection criteria has been relaxed to a score of 40% in graduation.

BACHELOR OF COMMERCE (B.Com)


  • Eligibility Criteria In order to take admission, the candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Education (10+2) or its equivalent from Uttar Pradesh State Board or any other recognized education board.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO M.Tech


  • The candidates seeking admissions to M. Tech programme are required to appear in PG Admission Test and Counseling conducted every year by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (Dr APJAKTU). The final admission of the qualified candidates will be done through counseling. The candidate willing to get admission through management quota is also required to qualify the PG admission test. The candidates having valid GATE score are exempted from the written examination.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO M. Pharm


  • The candidates seeking admissions to M. Pharm programme are required to appear in PG Admission Test and Counseling conducted every year by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (Dr APJAKTU). The final admission of the qualified candidates will be done through counseling. The candidate willing to get admission through management quota is also required to qualify the PG admission test. The candidates having valid GPAT score are exempted from the written examination. Candidates must have passed B. Pharm from any recognized Institution with minimum of 60% (5% relaxation for SC).

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO BBA/BCA


  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board in any stream for seeking admission to 1st year of BBA or BCA programme.

Preference is given to the candidates coming through UGAT i.e. Undergraduate Aptitude Test organized by All India Management Association of India, New Delhi (AIMA). Candidates having fluency in English, having good personality along with good academic record will be preferred.
