Mega Job Fair-2010:
Job fairs
are a major part of recruitment and
placement activities for both students and
alumni. HRGI hosts several job fairs
annually. The biggest one was the four day
Mega-Job Fair-2010 organized from 21-24
April, 2010 in the campus of the
H.R.Institute of Technology, the
H.R.Institute of Pharmacy, the H.R.Institute
of Hotel Management and the H.R.Institute of
Professional Studies. Several national and
international companies came forward and
conducted recruitment drives. Almost 90%
students of 2009-2010 passed out in that
batch got selected in these companies with
handsome salaries and perks. The HRGI
students felt motivated and encouraged. In
this mega event, not only the students of
HRGI got placements, but the students of
various other colleges also got placed. This
indicates that HRGI is committed to follow
its vision and mission in the truest sense,
for the welfare of society and the nation.
On the occasion, Er. Anil Agrawal, Chairman,
HRGI Ghaziabad said, “…the Group is
committed to continue with such types of the
biggest Mega Job Fairs from time to time and
the process will go on…”

Training & Placement:
The
H.R. Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad has
established a full-fledged Training &
Placement Cell which periodically liaises
and interacts with the corporate world in
order to explore the possibility of training
and job placement of students. With this end
in view, the Training and Placement Cell
efficaciously arranges seminars on emerging
technologies, personality development
programmes, career counselling and
industrial visits in order to groom and
orient the students for an excellent
exposure for employment prospects in today's
highly competitive job market. HRGI has a
live training and placement cell with strong
industrial linkages. Therefore, even in the
period of recession, almost 100% students of
PGDM and MBA of I & II batches got
placement in reputed companies. More than
90% of B.Tech students have also got
selected in renowned national and
multinational companies and the
process still continues. In this series,
personnel visited us from: VODAFONE,
MAHINDRA RETAIL, JEEVAN RAKSHAK LIFE MULTI
SERVICES (LIC), TATA INDICOM, FALCON, HCL
INFO SYTEM,JOHNSON & JOHNSON , MARUTI
SUZUKI, VEENA INDUSTRIES , COCA COLA ,VISHAL

PEROT SYTEMS, NR SWITCH & RADIO.
Campus
Placement :
Senior officials of Leroy Somers
conducted interviews for placement of final
year EN students on 8th April, 2010 at HRIT
campus. Of the 5 short listed students which
were, two students: Sheel Yadav & Gaurav
Dwivedi were finally selected by the company
as ‘Graduate Engineer Trainee’ (GET) at a
salary package of Rs.2.4 lac per annum.
Representatives from these companies visited
the H.R. Institute of Technology, H.R.
Institute of Pharmacy, H.R. Institute of
Hotel Management & H.R. Institute of
Professional Studies and gave motivatingl
and educative presentations about their
respective companies, especially about their
products, objectives and employment
prospects. The main objective of these
companies’ visits to HRIT was to catch
young and promising MBA and B.Tech.
students, orient and groom them in their own
work culture and ethos. It was with this
objective that almost all MBA students of
2009 batch and 90 students of B.Tech (2010)
passe out and 60 MBA students (2010)who
passed were selected by these companies for
placement. The process is still on. More
companies such as ICICI Prudential, Standard
Chartered Bank, SBI Life Insurance, eZONE
Softech Technologies, Mahagun Developers and
the SS Group will also visit HRIT shortly
for the same purpose.
It was
heartening to note that Er. Anil Agarwal,
Chairman, HRGI, Ghaziabad congratulated the
HOD Training & Placement, HOD, MBA,HOD –CS,
ECE, EN, ME and other faculty members of
MBA and B.Tech for almost 100% placement of
the first and second batch of MBA in reputed
concerns. He also lauded the remarkable
progress made by HRGI during the short span
of its existence.
Industrial Visit Final Year Electrical
students-2010 Batch:
The
students of 8th Sem (Elect. & Electronics)
visited the factory of ‘Leroy Somes’ in
Noida Phase-II, on 20March, 2010. This is a
multinational company with headquarters in
USA. manufacturing AC Generators of capacity
10KVA to 2MVA for domestic market and export
as well.
